Modalities

We are trained in an array of techniques, and employ elements of them all in most sessions.

Swedish

The basics of your most recent relaxing massage probably shared alot with swedish massage.

Deep Tissue

Deep tissue massage is not a technical distinction, but a practical one. Many clients complain that their therapist isn't "going deep enough". This is often both a function of pressure and placement of strokes. Deep tissue massage is a specialty of ours.

Neuromuscular

Neuromuscular therapy is a treatment protocol proven to get results. Often, chronic muscle dysfunction can be treated effectively with these methods. Neuromuscular therapy has slightly more "clinical" feel than other techniques. Even so, we incorporate elements of neruomuscular into all of our sessions, when appropriate.

Myofascial

Myofascial and neuromuscular overlap somewhat. Conceptually, we work alot with the fascia that can often constrict muscles, impeding the healing process for chronically dysfunctional muscles. Working with clients to expand and loosen these fascial bindings can produce lasting results.
